Founded by Tracy Matos, who brings over 25 years of expert grooming and heartfelt care, our salon is built on trust, compassion, and a deep love for animals. Tracy is joined by Ana, a Certified Pet Groomer with 15 years of hands-on experience, and Alex, a skilled groomer with 10 years of professional grooming expertise. Jimmy, a long-standing member of the team for 6 years, contributes his grooming skills and also serves as a dedicated bather and grooming assistant, helping ensure each pet receives the highest level of care. Together, Bark With Style NJ offers a truly boutique-style experience tailored to your pet’s needs.
What are your grooming hours?
Bark With Style NJ books grooming appointments Monday-Saturday from 8 am and later. Our Saturday salon appointments are limited, available by request, and incur an additional fee.
What are your COVID protocols?
Your pet is part of our family and we understand the importance of their well-being as well as yours, therefore, Bark With Style NJ maintains a 100% sanitized, germ free pet grooming salon at all times to ensure everyone’s safety. Our groomers hand sanitize as often as possible and have the option of wearing masks.
Do you groom cats?
Bark With Style NJ offers cat grooming at our salon. Cat grooming appointments are limited. Grooming includes full baths and treatments with cat-specific products.
Can you groom both my pets at the same time?
Yes, Bark With Style NJ can accommodate grooming multiple family pets.

How do I pay for my pet’s groom?
Bark with Style accepts cash and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Is gratuity included in the groom?
Tips are greatly appreciated but not required.
Does Bark With Style NJ have holiday grooming hours or appointments?
Yes, Bark with Style asks that you book your dog’s grooming appointment at least 1-2 months before holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What Is Bark With Style NJ's Cancellation Policy?
In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, Bark With Style NJ requires 48-hour minimum advanced notice due to scheduling and travel time. Clients who cancel three times in a row will be terminated, and any future appointments will require nonrefundable advance payment.
Does Bark With Style NJ require any vaccinations before grooming my pet?
Yes, Bark With Style NJ require updated rabies and distemper vaccinations before scheduling your grooming appointment.
How often should my animal get groomed?
Bark With Style NJ keeps all of our clients’ pets on a routine grooming schedule, typically every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks. We do this to ensure your pet’s coat stays healthy and tangle-free. This also gives you peace of mind knowing when to expect the next appointment. Tracy will determine the ideal interval for grooming appointments based on your pet’s needs.
ON-SITE PET GROOMING CONSIDERATIONS
How do I prepare my dog for their grooming appointment?
Make sure your dog has had a walk or exercise, and ensure they have completely relieved themselves before their grooming appointment.
How long is a typical grooming session?
Bark With Style allows 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes for smaller pets, and 1.5 to 2.5 hours for larger dogs. The time may extend depending on the type of grooming services performed and the condition of your pet’s coat.
Am I allowed to accompany my dog?
The safety of your pet is our priority. We often find that if your dog sees their “pawrents” during the grooming process, they can get anxious. We cannot allow anyone other than your dog and the groomer in the grooming area. However, we’re happy to give you a tour!
Will my dog be crated?
Bark With Style NJ offers cage-free grooming for dogs being picked up on time.
