Our salon is located in Ridgewood, New Jersey. We proudly provide mobile pet grooming services throughout Bergen County and in Hawthorne, Passaic County. We service Allendale, Fair Lawn, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, Mahwah, Midland Park, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Waldwick, Washington Township, and Woodcliff Lake.

Owner and founder of Bark With Style NJ, Tracy Matos, brings 25 years of dog grooming experience. In addition, Ana brings 15 years of Certified Pet Grooming experience to our team.

Bark With Style NJ books grooming appointments Monday-Friday from 8 am and later. Saturday salon appointments are available only by request, with limited slots and an additional booking fee. Mobile services are closed on weekends.

Your pet is part of our family and we understand the importance of their well-being as well as yours,therefore, we maintain a 100% sanitized, germ free mobile vehicle and salon at all times to ensure everyone’s safety. Our groomers hand sanitize as often as possible and have the option of wearing masks. 

Bark With Style NJ offers cat grooming only at our salon. Cat grooming appointments are limited. Grooming includes full baths and treatments with cat-specific products.

We accept cash and all major credit cards as forms of payment. In the event a check is returned, any bank fees and the original amount due must be paid in cash.

Tips are greatly appreciated but not required.

Yes, we ask that you book your dog’s grooming appointment at least 1-2 months before holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, Bark With Style NJ requires 48-hour minimum advanced notice due to scheduling and travel time. Clients who cancel three times in a row will be terminated, and any future appointments will require nonrefundable advance payment.

Bark With Style NJ requires updated rabies and distemper vaccinations before scheduling your grooming appointment.

Bark With Style NJ keeps all of our clients’ pets on a routine grooming schedule, typically every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks. We do this to ensure your pet’s coat stays healthy and tangle-free. This also gives you peace of mind knowing when to expect the next appointment. Tracy will determine the ideal interval for grooming appointments based on your pet’s needs.”

Make sure your dog has had a walk or exercise, and ensure they have completely relieved themselves before their appointment.

As a mobile unit, we provide a 2-hour arrival window and notify you when we are 15 minutes from your driveway. We do our best to be punctual, but unforeseen delays may occur, such as a dog requiring extra time during the previous appointment, inclement weather, or traffic.

Bark With Style allows 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes for smaller pets, and 1.5 to 2.5 hours for larger dogs. The time may extend depending on the type of grooming services performed and the condition of your pet’s coat.

The safety of your pet is our priority. We often find that if your dog sees their “pawrents” during the grooming process, they can get anxious. We cannot allow anyone other than your dog and the groomer in the grooming area. However, we’re happy to give you a tour!

The beauty of our mobile grooming unit is that it is perfect for dogs with anxiety or health conditions because your dog will not be confined to a cage and will be the only dog in the vehicle. We aim to provide a stress-free experience for your pooch. For salon grooming appointments, we offer cage-free grooming for dogs being picked up on time.

For mobile grooming, our Bark With Style van parks on flat driveways or along the curb in front of your home. We can make accommodations if parking at your residence is inconvenient.

Yes, our grooming van is completely equipped with warm water and electricity.
