What are your COVID-19 protocols?
Bark With Style NJ takes the utmost safety and adheres to the NJ state mandated COVID-19 protocol. Your pet is part of our family, and around your family, so its important we maintain a 100% sanitized germ-free mobile vehicle at all times. Our groomers wear masks and hand sanitize as often as possible. We ask if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with a person who has tested positive to please reschedule your grooming appointment at a later time.
Do you groom cats?
Yes! Bark With Style NJ offers cat grooming including full baths and treatments with cat specific products.
Can you groom both my pets at the same time?
Yes, we can accommodate multiple family animals.
BOOKING YOUR DOG'S APPOINTMENT
Will I receive a confirmation for my dog’s appointment?
Simply call to book. Then, you will receive an automated text message. This phone number is automated and not our regular contact. Our main phone number is (201) 925-0337.
How do I pay for my dog’s grooming?
We accept cash, and all major credit cards are accepted forms of payment. In the event a check is returned, any bank fees and the original amount due must be paid in cash.
Is gratuity included?
Tips are greatly appreciated but not required.
Do you have holiday hours or appointments?
Yes, we ask you to book your dog’s grooming appointment at least 1-2 months in advance for holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, Bark With Style NJ requires 48-hour minimum advanced notice as it is important for scheduling and travel time. Canceling 3 appointments in a row will result in a fee and the client will further be required to pay in advance and payment is non-refundable.
Do you require any vaccinations before grooming my pet?
Bark with Style NJ requires updated rabies and distemper vaccinations before booking your grooming appointment.
How often should my pet get groomed?
Bark With Style NJ keeps all our client's pets on a routine grooming schedule every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks. We do this to ensure your pet’s hair stays healthy and tangle-free. This also gives you peace of mind knowing when to expect the next appointment with us. Tracy will determine how many weeks apart grooming appointments should be.
ON-SITE GROOMING CONSIDERATIONS
How do I prepare my dog for their grooming appointment?
Make sure your dog has had a walk or exercised. Please make sure your dog have completely relieved themselves before their appointment.
How will I know when you have arrived at my house?
As a mobile unit, we will provide you with a 2-hour arrival window and notify you when we are 15-minutes from your driveway. We do our best to be punctual but there may be unforeseen delays such as a dog requiring extra time during the previous appointment, inclement weather, or traffic.
How long is a typical grooming session?
Bark With Style allows 45 min to 1 hour 20 minutes for smaller pets, and 1.5 to 2.5 hours for larger dogs. Time can extend longer depending on the type of grooming services performed and condition of your pet’s coat.
Am I allowed to be in the van with my dog?
The safety of your pet is our priority. We often find if your dog sees their "pawrents" during the grooming process they can get anxious. We cannot allow anyone other than your dog and the groomer in our vehicle for insurance purposes. We are happy to give you a tour of our state of the art mobile grooming unit.
Will my dog be crated?
The beauty of our mobile grooming unit is that it is perfect for dogs with anxiety or health conditions because your dog will not be confined to a cage and will be the only dog in the vehicle. We like to keep a stress-free experience for your pooch.
Where do you park?
Bark With Style’s van parks on flat driveways or along the curb in front of your home. We can make accommodations to meet if your residence is inconvenient for parking.
Does Bark With Style NJ use it’s own water and electricity?
Yes, our grooming van is completely self-contained with warm water and electricity.
